1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Live Near Me website and your purchase of tickets through it. By using the site or buying a ticket, you agree to these terms. Live Near Me is operated by [registered company name], [registered address].

2. Our role

Live Near Me is a platform that lets event organisers list events and sell tickets to customers. Unless stated otherwise, the organiser — not Live Near Me — is responsible for the event itself, including its running, content, and admission. We act as a booking and ticketing agent.

3. Buying tickets

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. Prices are shown in GBP and include applicable taxes; a booking fee may be added and is shown before you pay. A binding contract is formed once your order is confirmed and payment is taken. Please check your order carefully — e-tickets are sent to the email address you provide.

4. Refunds, cancellations & changes

Tickets are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where an event is cancelled. If an event is cancelled, you'll be refunded the ticket face value to your original payment method. If an event is rescheduled, your tickets normally remain valid for the new date. Booking fees may be non-refundable. Because tickets are for events on a specific date, the standard 14-day cancellation right for online purchases does not usually apply.

5. Entry & conduct

Admission is subject to the organiser's and venue's terms, including any age restrictions shown on the event page. Organisers and venues may refuse entry or remove attendees for safety or behaviour reasons. Please arrive with a valid e-ticket.

6. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, resell tickets in breach of the organiser's terms, or use the platform for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a ticket is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of organisers or venues.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply.
